Panettone Bread Pudding
Panettone is a sweet fruit bread or cake ,originally from Italy. It has the texture of bread. It's enjoyed during Christmas and new year . This bread pudding can be served as breakfast or dessert.

1/2 lb panettone bread or cake ( 325 gms approx )
4 slices sqaw bread or any bread
1/2 cup milk
4 eggs
zest of one orange
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3 bananas
1/2 cup walnuts
1 tablespoon maple syrup ( optional )
Steps
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees centigrade .
Break eggs into the milk and whisk well. To this add vanilla, cinnamon and orange zest.
Tear bite size pieces of panettone and arrange them on a baking dish.
Add slices of banana on top and spread it evenly.
Next spinkle walnut pieces.
Chop the sqaw bread slices into cubes. Arrange this on top .
Pour the milk-egg mixture slowly , so it gets absorbed into the bread.
Drizzle maple syrup if needed.
Bake for 25 minutes till the top is slightly brown.
Dust with powdered sugar and serve hot.
