Whether you are an artist, an interior , fabric or a landscape designer, a color wheel is an important tool, to create a pleasing work of art to the eyes.
Here is a basic color wheel to understand the color choices.
Using three primary colors ( cannot be mixed from other colors) a number of color combinations can be achieved.
I used watercolors, and the three Primary colors Ultramarine Blue, pyrrol Red and aureolin Yellow.
In the figure above, circle A represents the primary colors.
Mixing any two primary colors will result in a secondary color as shown in circle B .
Mixing any primary and a secondary color will result in tertiary colors as shown in circle C.
The opposite colors on the colors wheel , shown as diagonal lines will be the complementary colors. Mixing these two colors together will result in a nuetral color.
